FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q.    What locations do you cover?

The majority of our lessons are held online therefore we can support children in any location, nationally or internationally. However, if you would prefer sessions at home then we cover a 3 mile radius around each of these areas: Beaconsfiled, Amersham and Chesham. Please do contact us though as these areas can be slightly flexible.

Q.    What ages can tutoring be arranged for?

We can offer tutoring for all ages from Year 1 up to Year 11, including the 7+, 11+ and 13+ examinations, as well as GCSE.

Q.    How are tutors checked and prepared for tutoring?

All tutors are checked and hold up-to-date DBS certificates. All tutors undergo an interview and are observed teaching prior to working with us.

Q.    How do I pay?

All clients are expected to pay for completed one-to-one sessions within 7 days of receiving their monthly invoice. This can be made via bank transfer, the details for which will be provided on the invoice. Late fees will apply for clients who regularly miss the deadline. Group sessions are payable at the time of booking.

Q.    Is there a joining fee?

No, there are no joining fees. The only fees to be paid are for the sessions that you receive.

Q.    Are there cancellation fees?

With regards to one-to-one tuition, if more than 48 hours notice is given, then our tutors will do their best to rearrange the session for another time. If the sessions can not be rearranged then there will be no charge. However, if the session is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice then the full charge for the session will be incurred. Please see our 'Terms and Policies' for further information on this. Our group sessions cannot be rearranged. Unfortunately, if you miss a lesson then no refund can be given.
